"Honduras is Our Home" Adopted by Tourism Ministry to Inspire Domestic Travel
Wednesday, 03 March 2010 06:17
The Ministry of Tourism under its new minister, Nelly Jerez, is preparing to launch a major publicity campaign to promote travel and tourism within Honduras. For the effort, which is timed with the upcoming Holy Week holiday, the Ministry has adopted the slogan, "Honduras is our home". The idea is to inspire Hondurans to depart from their routines and go out to explore their country and discover or re-discover its rich cultural heritage and natural beauties -- everything from Honduras' colorful colonial towns and ancient Maya ruins to its pristine beaches and lush mountain forests.
